Welcome to the Alanson Church of the Nazarene where our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds. We enjoy heart-felt worship, relevant teachings, honest friendships, and compassionate care for those in need. You matter to us because you matter to God!
Our Christmas season was exceedingly blessed this year with both a teen and childrens program. The children were excited to have Mary arrive in Jerusalem on a "donkey." As you can see in the picture, our platform was very beautiful, decorated with over forty poinsettias given in memory of a loved one or in honor of those special people in our lives.
The evening of October 31st was full of family fun as the Alanson Church of the Nazarene hosted our annual Trunk n' Treat Festival. This was the second year we had the Bouncy House, a favorite place to play.
The Schmitt's, Foster and Charlene, have been here only a short time but have already won the hearts of the congregation. Charlene leading the music with a praise team, prepares our hearts for worship and Pastor Foster then leads us to the feet of Jesus. They are a great pastoral team!
A big group went to children's camp this year. They had a great time and the closing program was awesome!
This year our theme for the parade was 'Alanson Church of the Nazarene - Fishers of Men'. We were honored that our pastor, the Rev.David Brantley, was chosen to be Grand Marshal.
